We are two former hotel food & beverage pros who were furloughed from our jobs in early 2020. After leaving the hotel life, we knew that our next step was to create our own business. We called ourselves the Furlough Brothers and launched our first concept "Furlough Brothers Cheesesteaks" in March of 2021. We quickly realized that our house-seasoned and marinaded meats would taste just as good over rice, quinoa, mixed green and cauliflower rice as they do on a toasted Amoroso bun. The foundation of Packin' Bowls was built and with some culinary creativity and infusion of longtime family recipes, we developed a fresh, healthy menu that spans multiple cuisines. Trust us, we know how to pack a bowl... we do it every day!
